Oklahoma · Land, water & property recovery

Some things go missing today. Some things have been missing for hundreds of years.

We search for both—lost rings and valuables now, historic places and family stories through research and careful fieldwork. We genuinely love what we do.

Stop searching. Mark the spot. Call now.

Document the last known time and location before anything changes. Take wide and close photographs, mark landmarks, and preserve any route or map information—photos help tremendously.

Historical property research

Want to know what was here?

We test family stories and old places against records, maps and the land itself.

  • Old homesteads
  • Vanished communities
  • Family stories & caches
Our methodRecords first. Fieldwork only with evidence and permission. Possible ancient sites are not disturbed.

Cost may be zero when the historical opportunity itself makes the project worthwhile.

Documented, mapped & preserved

Every historical finding becomes part of the record.

Recovery is only one part of responsible historical work. We maintain project casebooks, log sources and field observations, photograph findings, and record location and context when appropriate.

GIS & mappingHistoric maps, aerial imagery, LiDAR, GPS coordinates and modern GIS layers help connect records to the land.
Casebooks & provenanceSources, permissions, search areas, findings and outcomes are organized so the evidence remains traceable.
Responsible reportingSignificant discoveries are documented and handled with the landowner and appropriate historical or archaeological guidance.

The people behind the search

Serious about the work. Happy to be out there.

Derik genuinely enjoys the adventure of turning a “gone forever” moment into a “you’ve got to be kidding me!” return. He brings recovery experience, specialized equipment, certified-diver training and a real-estate background in land records; Crystal assists in the field.

When he is not tracking down a lost item or researching an old place, Derik is usually outdoors. He is an outdoorsman, two-wheeled world traveler, cattle-ranch-raised Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, husband, father, friend and real-estate investor/broker.

We are insured, respectful on every property, and genuinely enjoy the search, the history and returning something that matters.

Good people. Serious tools. A search worth enjoying.
